The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online October Sale has been published and can be viewed at www.tattersallsonline.com. The sale, which takes place on 20th - 21st of October, has attracted 46 entries and features 34 fillies and mares, as well as an assortment of horses in and out of training, several smartly bred yearlings, an individual store offering and a filly foal by sought after young sire MASAR.

The sale has attracted a strong catalogue of well-related fillies and mares including mares in foal to top proven sires AUSTRALIA, ACCLAMATION and BATED BREATH, as well as to exciting young stallions MASAR, MAGNA GRECIA and HARRY ANGEL amongst others. The catalogue includes mares by renowned sires STREET CRY, SHAMARDAL, DUBAWI and MASTERCRAFTSMAN, and two mares by elite international broodmare sire FASTNET ROCK.

Highlights of the broodmares catalogued include a trio consigned by Irish Emerald Stud, led by blacktype producing mare ALTHANIA, dam of Listed August Stakes placed MASKUD. A daughter of the highly sought after broodmare sire STREET CRY, ALTHANIA is out of the Listed winner and Group 2 placed GABRIELLINA GIOF. She is joined by CATCHLINE, dam of three winners and a half-sister to Group 1 winners ANCIENT WORLD and JILBAB, and HOPE LAKE, whose yearling filly sold for 110,000 guineas at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale, and who is offered in foal to proven multiple Group 1 producing sire ACCLAMATION.

Certain to attract the attention of purchasers in VALERIE’S MEMORY, a half-sister to Group 2 winning mare PLAINCHANT who sold for 490,000 guineas at the 2021 Tattersalls December Mares Sale to Oceanic Bloodstock for White Birch Farm. They are out of NADINSKA, a half-sister to Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed LAUGH OUT LOUD, herself the dam of Group 2 winner PLATINUM WARRIOR.

The Elwick Stud draft of seven entries features five mares, a three-year-old filly by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT and a yearling filly by MONDIALISTE. The consignment includes the LOPE DE VEGA mare LA ARCADIA, offered in foal to Classic producing sire ACLAIM. LA ARCADIA is a half-sister to multiple Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed STOTSFOLD, and a close relation to Grade 1 winner CAPLA TEMPTRESS.

Mount Richard Stud will offer six mares in foal to exciting young sires ARIZONA, SIOUX NATION, CALYX, including the FASTNET ROCK mare FAR FETCHED, a half-sister to Listed winner ARYA TARA, herself the dam of Group 2 Debutante Stakes winner AGARTHA.

Three yearlings hold entries in the sale including a colt by U S NAVY FLAG out of a full-sister to FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND, as well as a filly by promising young sire PROFITABLE who hails from the family of Group 2 winners SAFE VOYAGE and CAT BY THE TALE. A single foal entry is held by the Heatherwold Stud consigned filly by Derby winner MASAR, from a prolific blacktype family including Group 1 winners SPECIAL RING, POLIGLOTE and I’M YOUR MAN.

The catalogue has also attracted consignments from Mount Richard Stud, Sheraton Bloodstock and Kilbride Farm as well as entries from leading British and Irish trainers including William Haggas, Jessica Harrington, Andrew Balding, Ed Dunlop, and Eve Johnson Houghton.
