23 Mar 2026 Share on X Share on Facebook Tattersalls Online and Emirates Racing Authority Announce Online Horses in Training Sale Tattersalls Online and the Emirates Racing Authority continue their groundbreaking partnership with the announcement of a second online horses-in-training auction to be held from Thursday 26th March to Wednesday 1st April. The online sale will feature 195 lots and will be held as an alternative to the live end of season auction which would normally take place around the Dubai World Cup meeting. The forthcoming ERA Online Sale will open for bidding on Thursday 26th March and is scheduled to close over two days. Hosted entirely on the Tattersalls Online platform, the auction will offer a catalogue of 172 UAE-based thoroughbreds and 23 Purebred Arabians. The first 101 lots will close from 10:00am GMT (2:00pm GST) on Tuesday 31st March and the remaining lots are scheduled to close from 10:00am GMT (2:00pm GST) Wednesday 1st April. Buyers worldwide will bid remotely under ERA conditions, extending the reach of the Emirates’ vibrant racing to a global audience.Bhupat Seemar will consign 20 lots headlined by Dubai World Cup entry IMPERIAL EMPEROR who boasts official turf and dirt ratings of 115. The son of DUBAWI who races in the colours of the Deva Racing Syndicate has built an impressive record to date landing the Group 2 Al Maktoum Mile in December and followed this up with a dominant victory in the Group 1 Al Maktoum Challenge, a performance that secured his place in the Dubai World Cup on Saturday 28th March. The largest consignment comes from the stables of Salem Bin Ghadayer numbering 27 lots, of which 21 will be offered on behalf of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. Meanwhile, 21 lots will be offered on behalf of Godolphin in the drafts of Charlie Appleby and Saeed bin Suroor. Elsewhere, Michael Costa consigns 13 lots on behalf of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum whilst 12 lots consigned by Simon and Ed Crisford include 8 entries on behalf of Rabbah Racing.The sale features drafts from 27 individual consignors including Ahmad bin Harmash, 2024 – 2025 Champion trainer Mussabeh Al Mheiri, Fawzi Nass, Doug Watson and this year’s newly formed partnership of Antonio Cintra and Julio Olascoaga amongst many others. This innovative collaboration between Tattersalls Online and the ERA exemplifies the modern era of thoroughbred sales.
