Royal Ascot Prospect River In Paradise Announced for Tattersalls Online Pop-Up Sale

Debut winning two-year-old and Royal Ascot prospect RIVER IN PARADISE is set to be offered in the Tattersalls Online June Pop-Up Sale which will take place on Friday 12^th June. 

Consigned by Robert Edwards’ Uplands Stables in Lambourn, the promising daughter of LOPE Y FERNANDEZ ran out an impressive winner of a six furlong maiden fillies’ stakes at Lingfield last week, earning a Timeform rating of 73p for the performance. 

Despite still learning her craft during the early stages, RIVER IN PARADISE improved with every furlong, travelling strongly before quickening clear to score by a length and a half. The form of the race has significant substance with the runner-up having filled the same position on both previous starts, whilst eight of her nine rivals brought prior racecourse experience into the contest.

Following her eye-catching debut, the exciting filly will now be targeted towards the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes which will be ran over six furlongs on Wednesday of the Royal meeting. 

RIVER IN PARADISE, a graduate of the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale, is the first foal out of winning INVINCIBLE SPIRIT mare RIVER EDEN, herself a daughter of Listed Silver Tankard Stakes winner LADY HEIDI. Her pedigree is further enhanced by the presence of dual Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed THEWAYIAM, as well as Group 1 winner TENBY and multiple Group 1 placed EXOSPHERIC.

The Tattersalls Online June Pop-Up Sale has proven to be a rich source of high-quality young talent highlighted by Listed winning filly HOT DARLING who sold for 460,000 guineas in 2024 and last year’s debut two-year-old winner MISS YECHANCE, who sold for 250,000 guineas and went on to win at the 2026 Dubai Racing Carnival.
