The sale includes a wide range of lots from both Flat and National Hunt disciplines, including 86 horses in/out of training, 27 yearlings, 23 broodmares, 8 foals, 3 point-to-point offerings and 7 Breeding Rights.

A Breeding Right to Europe’s most exciting young sire HAVANA GREY is a highlight of the catalogue and presents a rare opportunity to invest in the stallion, who has taken the bloodstock world by storm since his offspring first hit the track last year. Crowned leading European first season sire in 2022, HAVANA GREY celebrated his first Group 1 winner this summer when top two-year-old VANDEEK claimed a notable double in the Group 1 Prix Morny and Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, and his stud fee has increased to £55,000 for the 2024 breeding season. A Breeding Right is also on offer to CRACKSMAN, sire of the outstanding Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triompe winner ACE IMPACT, as well as Breeding Rights to ACLAIM, CLOTH OF STARS, LAND FORCE, LE BRIVIDO and TERRITORIES.

The 23 broodmares catalogued are headed by proven blacktype producer WASHINGTON BLUE, offered in foal to the multiple Group 1 producing sire STARSPANGLEDBANNER. The daughter of RIP VAN WINKLE is the dam of Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed mare ROMAGNA MIA, who won the Grade 3 Dowager Stakes at Keenland on her most recent start in October. WASHINGTON BLUE also boasts an exciting two-year old daughter in ARETHA STAR who won impressively on debut and is being pointed at next year’s Oaks D’Italia. Mares are also offered in foal to A’ALI, BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE, HARRY ANGEL, MONDIALISTE, RAJASINGHE, SERGEI PROKOFIEV, TASLEET, TWILGIHT SUN, ULYSSES and WITHOUT PAROLE.

86 horses in and out of training are on offer with top performers from the Flat including DIRE LA VERITE, who boasts an official rating of 94. The three-year old colt is consigned by trainer Brian Meehan’s Manton Lodge Stables and made an impressive winning debut at Chelmsford in August. The son of MUHAARAR then ran respectably in Listed company at Chantilly, before returning to finish third in the Prix de Montleveque.

Other notable entries include Iain Jardine’s useful stayer RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE, placed five times this season and last seen running well in a Heritage Handicap at York, and his stablemate LORD SAM’S CASTLE, a dual winner on the flat who showed plenty of ability when placed on his hurdles debut at Aintree in June. Another lot with options under both codes is SOLUTION, the three-year-old son of NEW APPROACH is a dual winner over two miles in 2023 and is one of four horses consigned by Ralph Beckett’s Kimpton Down Stables.

Leading a classy bunch of National Hunt performers is Listed winner POETIC MUSIC, consigned by trainer Fergal O’Brien. The daughter of POET’S VOICE has won three times over hurdles and finished third in the Listed Coral Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Newbury. Another lot with blacktype form is the Ian Williams trained CAPTAIN TOMMY, a winner over fences at Worcester in August who previously finished second in a Listed company over hurdles.

Proven Group 1 sires are well represented among the 27 yearlings on offer including CRACKSMAN, NATHANIEL, NEW BAY, OASIS DREAM, SAXON WARRIOR and STARSPANGLEDBANNER, and the 8 foals catalogued include progeny of exciting sires CALIFORNIA CHROME, LUCKY VEGA and SERGEI PROKOFIEV.
