Global Esteem Tops the Tattersalls Online June Sale

The Tattersalls Online June Sale was headed by GLOBAL ESTEEM who sold for 25,000 guineas to the bid of Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.

A four-time winning son of KODIAC, GLOBAL ESTEEM finished third on his most recent start at Goodwood for trainer Chris Dwyer and holds an official rating of 84. Consigned by Global Group Racing, GLOBAL ESTEEM is a full brother to Listed winner and Group 3 placed mare TERROR who also ran fourth in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes.

Another lot to find favour in the sale was PRINCESS AZURE who realised 17,000 guineas and was secured by Omega Racing. Offered by Jessica Harrington’s Commonstown Stables, the three-year-old daughter of AIR FORCE BLUE placed twice as a two-year-old and holds plenty of promise for her new owners. She is out of PRINCESS SINEAD who ran third in the Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas as well as being placed at Group and Listed level on three other occasions.

Other highlights of the sale included a breeding right to European Champion miler RIBCHESTER who was purchased by Dan Tunmore for 13,500 guineas and LADY SPARKLES, in foal to HAVANA GREY who sold for 12,500 guineas to White Rose Bloodstock.

A total of 10 lots sold for 104,200 guineas with over 90 bidders registered for the sale.
