55 Lots Catalogued for Tattersalls Online March Sale

55 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls Online March Sale which takes place on 6th  – 7th March and is now available to view at www.tattersallsonline.com. The online auction includes 37 horses in and out of training from both Flat and National Hunt disciplines, five yearlings, four two-year-olds, three breeding rights, two mares, one point-to-pointer and a stallion share in GREGORIAN.

One of the sale’s highlights is the multiple Grade 2 placed hurdler GLORIOUS ZOFF. Consigned by Fergal O’Brien Racing, the son of ZOFFANY finished third in the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle at Wincanton in November and previously filled the same position in the Grade 2 Summit Juvenile Hurdle at Doncaster.

An exciting opportunity is also presented in ESCARIA TEN who is offered with an entry in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at the upcoming Cheltenham Festival. The consistent blacktype performer was previously third in the Grade 2 National Hunt Challenge Cup Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and has also been runner up twice at Grade 3 level over fences, as well as finishing ninth in the 2022 Grand National at Aintree.

Trainer Harry Fry will offer two horses in the sale including attractive breeding prospect CREDROJAVA, a Listed winner over hurdles. The undefeated daughter of PRESENTING followed up her debut point-to-point success with a bumper win and a novice hurdle victory, before securing an impressive blacktype success in the Listed Byerley Stud Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle. She is the first foal out the KALANISI mare KNOCK VIEW VIC, whose dam is a full-sister to the multiple Grade 1 winner OUR VIC.

Brian Hamilton’s Ballynoe Stables will consign the sole point-to-pointer in the sale TAXUS BACCATA. The six-year-old daughter of CALIFET broke her maiden in tenacious fashion on her most recent start at Kirkistown on 10th February and hails from the family of Grade 3 winning hurdler SHANTREUSSE.

The catalogue also contains in form Flat performers aplenty including recent maiden winner ROBERTO CARO. The three-year-old was an impressive two and three quarter length winner at Kempton on only his second start for Ollie Sangster and comes from a deep blacktype family.

The Stuart Williams trained BOAFO BOY and Brian Ellison’s EXPLORERS WAY also boast recent form having both won their two most recent starts, and Ian Williams’ Dominion Racing Stables will consign the prolific BEAUZON who has won four consecutive races this year. Murphy & Keady Racing will also offer the Group 3 winner DUBAI STATION, placed a further four times in Group and Listed company and twice a winner last year.
