186 Lots Catalogued for Tattersalls Online November Sale

The multiple Listed-placed AIMERIC headlines the catalogue for the Tattersalls Online November Sale taking place on 18^th – 19^th November. The largest online auction to take place on the Tattersalls Online platform this year, the catalogue comprises 186 lots including 102 horses in and out of training, 63 yearlings, 16 broodmares, 2 Breeding Rights, 1 Stallion Share, 1 foal and 1 store and the full catalogue can be viewed now at www.tattersallsonline.com.

This month’s sale features the inaugural Online Yearling Session which is set to attract the attention of domestic and international buyers. There are over 40 individual sires represented in the session including ACCLAMATION, CHURCHILL, COTAI GLORY, KODI BEAR, SERGEI PROKOFIEV, SHOWCASING, STARSPANGLEDBANNER, TOO DARN HOT and ZOUSTAR, with drafts from Britain and Ireland’s leading yearling consignors. 

A star attraction of the horse in training on offer is talented middle-distance performer AIMERIC who has been placed five times in Listed company as well as finishing fourth in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes at Goodwood. Consigned by Karl Burke’s Spigot Lodge Stables, the son of world-class stallion FRANKEL is a half-brother to Group 1 winner and Classic producing sire ACLAIM and boasts a current Timeform rating of 108. 

Another reliable stakes performer in the sale is dual Group 3 winning sprinter GO ATHLETICO from Ado McGuinness Racing. A regular fixture in some of Europe’s biggest sprint races, the son of GOKEN was a winner of the valuable Scurry Handicap at the Curragh in July this season having also won the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes at the same track previously.

The largest consignment in the sale comes from Alice Haynes Racing who is set to offer 14 lots. The draft includes winning two-year-old HAVANA GREY filly NAANA’S SHADOW and the promising MISS LADY GRACE, a daughter of Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed SEA OF GRACE. 

Always a popular feature of the Tattersalls Online sales, the Willie Mullins’ Closutton Stables draft will feature bumper and hurdles winner LUCKINTHECITY. Currently rated 130 by the IHRB over hurdles, the six-year-old gelding was an eye-catching winner on bumper debut at Listowel before transferring that ability to hurdles with a pair of victories at Kilbeggan and Cork. The son of YOURGUNNABELUCKY has since shown promise in three starts over fences.

Other highlights amongst the horses in training include:

• Timeform 97-rated miler ACCENTUATE, impressive winner of a novice race at Windsor in June
• BACK TO ME, a progressive two-year old gelding who improved significantly upon debut to win a six-furlong maiden at Dundalk on 5^th November 
• BARBAPAPA, a brave winner of a six-furlong handicap at Dundalk on his most recent start for trainer Henry de Bromhead
• Five-time winning sprinter MEHMAN from Ger O’Leary’s Dunmurray Hall
• Resurgent handicapper VENETIAN, currently Timeform-rated 84 with a win and two second placings from his last three starts

A host of attractive breeding prospects feature in the sale, highlighted by ENTERPRISING, a daughter of leading broodmare sire DANSILI who is a sister to the dam of this year’s star middle-distance performer OMBUDSMAN. Consigned by Orchard Close Stud, the mare is a full sister to Group 3 winner RUNNYMEDE and dual Listed winner STIPULATE.

An appealing prospect to national hunt breeders will be WALK IN THE PARK mare SUPREME PARK. Half-sister to Grade 2 placed chaser BALLYKEEL, the eight-year-old is out of a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner BLACKSTAIRMOUNTAIN and is offered in foal to GENTLEWAVE.

Also featuring in the sale are mares in foal to exciting young stallions A’ALI, CATURRA, EL CABALLO and SAXON WARRIOR.

Rare opportunities to invest in some of Europe’s most promising sires are also on offer in the catalogue including Breeding Rights to HARRY ANGEL and PALACE PIER as well as 1/80^th Stallion Share in SUPREMACY.
