The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online August Sale featuring the annual partial dispersal from Gigginstown House Stud has now been published and can be viewed at www.tattersallsonline.com. The sale which is scheduled to take place on 12th –13th August comprises 143 lots and includes 120 horses in and out of training, 16 broodmares, four stores, two yearlings and a Breeding Right to proven Group 1 producing sire ARDAD.

A star attraction of the catalogue is the annual partial dispersal from leading National Hunt owner Gigginstown House Stud, headlined by winning hurdler and IHRB 129-rated chaser HARSH. A dual winner over hurdles and placed twice over fences, the versatile performer previously placed fourth in the Grade 2 Future Champions Finale Hurdle and the Grade 3 Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle. Also featuring in the draft is MACHISMO who holds a current IHRB rating of 124 after recently finishing runner-up at Wexford, beaten only 2 lengths, as well as BUTCHERS BILL, a half-brother to high-class performers ROMEO COOLIO and ASCENDING LARK.

A promising prospect sure to attract attention is recent bumper winner GOVERNORS ROCK. Consigned by Peter Flood’s Grange Stables, the four-year-old son of JOSHUA TREE improved significantly on his debut performance to run out an emphatic three-and-a-half-length winner at Wexford on his most recent start. Already a half-brother to two winning hurdlers, the progressive gelding looks sure to improve should a trip over hurdles await.

A host of high-class flat performers are also catalogued in the sale including the Timeform 100-rated MAGICO, consigned by Marco Botti’s Prestige Place. The four-year-old son of LE HAVRE is already a three-time winner on the turf and all-weather. Meanwhile Jack Jones Racing consigns ENOLA HOLMES, an attractive daughter of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT who placed fourth in the Listed Spring Cup and is being offered with current BHA rating of 86.

Andrew Balding’s Kingsclere Stables offers an exciting trio which includes the lightly raced maiden winner CHARTWELL JOCK who boasts a current Timeform rating of 86. He is offered alongside STAR OF DUBAI, an unexposed filly by SEA THE STARS who has already scored a win and two placings from only six starts and LADY KAMEKO, a three-year-old half-sister to Group 2 Queen’s Vase placed SAINT GEORGE, out of Listed placed LADY DRAGON.

Some exciting coverings feature among the 16 broodmares on offer including two mares in the draft of Baroda Stud offered in foal to the highly anticipated Group 1 winning sprinter SHAQUILLE. SERPENS is an unraced daughter of SEA THE MOON who is a half-sister to the Group 3 placed TERRESTRIAL and LIQUID GOLD is a half-sister to Group 1 Al Maktoum Challenge scorer NORTH AMERICA.

Elsewhere, Ballynure Park Stud will offer three mares led by CAPLA DREAM who is being offered in foal to leading first season sire STARMAN, already the sire of four individual Group winners from his first crop, whilst Haras du Buff consign Group 3 performer ASTERINA who is being offered in foal to Classic winner PERSIAN KING with a filly foal at foot by CITY LIGHT.

Broodmares are also offered in foal to exciting flat and National Hunt sires DINK, EL CABALLO, KAMEKO, SHOWCASING, SUBJECTIVIST and SUPREMACY.

Meanwhile, stallions represented among the four stores catalogued include IDAHO, ORDER OF ST GEORGE, PILLAR CORAL and TELESCOPE and the two yearlings in the sale are by exciting young sires LUCKY VEGA and MOHAATHER.
