90 Lots Catalogued for Tattersalls Online June Sale Featuring the Online Breeze Up Session

The full catalogue for the Tattersalls Online June Sale on 3rd – 4th June has been published at www.tattersallsonline.com featuring 90 lots. The catalogue is headlined by the Online Breeze Up Session of 20 breeze up lots as well as 59 horses in and out of training, six broodmares, three stores and one yearling colt.

The Online Breeze Up Session, which took place on the all-weather track at Dundalk Stadium on Wednesday 27th May, includes a colt by ARDAD who is a half-brother to Grade 3 placed IRISEACH and 91-rated four-year-old FAR FROM DANDY. Among those to catch the eye during the breeze was a filly by COTAI GLORY who is out of half-sister to Group 1 Ascot Gold Cup runner up SIMENON, consigned by The Bloodstock Connection. The Online Breeze Up Session also features progeny by leading stallions including STARMAN, ST MARK’S BASILICA, TOO DARN HOT and TWIRLING CANDY.  Breeze footage and official sectional times are available to view online for each lot.

A standout feature of the catalogue is the draft from Newtown Stud which forms part of a dispersal on behalf of Écurie de Cachene, breeders of recent Group 1 winner OPERA BALLO. The blue-blooded consignment includes the three-in-one offering of GALILEO mare CRUISE CONTROL who is sold in foal to French 2000 Guineas winner HENRI MATISSE with a colt foal at foot by exciting young sire PALACE PIER. Also on offer is winning mare WHATABIRD, sold in foal to Group 1 winner BLACKBEARD with a filly foal at foot by the regally-bred EREVANN who has his first yearlings in 2026. Completing the trio is the well-related QUEENSFERRY, in foal to proven Group 1 sire SPACE BLUES.

Elsewhere in the catalogue, Grade 2 placed SONY BILL is one of four lots consigned by Willie Mullins’ Closutton Stables. Third in the Grade 2 Leopardstown Juvenile Hurdle, the five-year-old son of BATTLE OF MARENGO holds a current IHRB rating of 136 over hurdles. Also in the draft is high-class dual purpose performer ZILLOW. With current IHRB ratings of 131 over hurdles and 91 on the flat, the son of ZOFFANY is a dual winner over hurdles and recorded a career-best performance in that sphere when winning the Listed New Stand Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse in November.

Jessica Harrington’s Commonstown Stables returns to the platform with a quality quartet featuring four-year-old SIYOUNI colt BEN LAWERS, a maiden winner at Dundalk in February, as well as THRIFTY OF DIGBY who gained a deserved success over 7 ½ furlongs on her most recent start on 18th May.

Faye Bramley presents five lots led by Grade 3 Caspian Caviar Gold Cup Handicap Chase winner and Tattersalls Online graduate GLENGOULY. The son of COASTAL PATH added to his winning record on his most recent start in the Class 2 Clarke Chase at Uttoxeter on 24th May. The draft also includes Grade 3 Greatwood Handicap Hurdle placed NO ORDINARY JOE and Grade 3 placed WALKING ON AIR.

Other highlights among the horses in training in the sale include:

  • Timeform 97-rated Newmarket maiden winner ANNIVERSARY, one of two lots from Ralph Beckett’s Kimpton Down Stables.
  • Group 2 Norfolk Stakes fourth-placed BRAVE NATION, a three-time winner whose victories include the Class 2 Betting Sites Handicap for trainer Michael Bell.
  • Kremlin House Stables consigned HIGH APPROVAL, a well-bred three-year-old son of MEHMAS who has been placed three times to date for Wathnan Racing.
