4 Sep 2025 Share on X Share on Facebook High Class Sprinter Marchogion to Feature in the Tattersalls Online September Sale High class sprinter MARCHOGION is set to feature as a highlight of the Tattersalls Online September Sale on 16 – 17 September following his dominant win at Chester last weekend.Offered with a career high BHA rating of 97 and current Timeform rating of 106, the three-year-old son of Tally-Ho Stud’s Champion sire MEHMAS now boasts three wins over six furlongs on good to firm ground as well as on the all-weather. Consigned by Andrew Balding’s Kingsclere Training Stables, MARCHOGION displayed early signs of talent being placed twice from only three starts as a two-year-old. The progressive colt shed his maiden tag in January this year with an emphatic seven-length victory at Southwell before relishing more success with a comfortable win in a Class 2 handicap on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile in May. MARCHOGION’s profile was elevated further with his most recent triumph when making all the running in the Class 3 Harrison Handicap at Chester to draw clear almost four lengths ahead of his rivals passing the winning post. A 160,000 guineas graduate of last year’s Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale when bought by JS Bloodstock and current owners Opulence Thoroughbreds, MARCHOGION is the second foal out of the winning PIVOTAL mare RAINCALL, herself a daughter of Australian Group 1 winner and dual Group 3 winner LONE ROCK.Entries for the Tattersalls Online September Sale are scheduled to close at 5pm Friday 5th September and the main catalogue for the sale will be published on Wednesday 10th September on the Tattersalls Online website at www.tattersallsonline.com.
