103 Lots Catalogued for Tattersalls Online July Sale

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online July Sale has been published featuring 103 lots for the online auction scheduled to take place on 1st – 2nd July. The diverse catalogue is available to view now at www.tattersallsonline.com and comprises 83 horses in and out of training, 13 broodmares, four point-to-pointers, two yearlings and one store.

Grade 3 winner and dual Grade 1 placed HOLLOW GAMES headlines a trio consigned by Gordon Elliott’s Cullentra House Stables. Having competed at the highest levels for leading owners Bective Stud, the son of BEAT HOLLOW was also previously third in the Grade 3 Galway Plate Handicap Chase and has placed on his three most recent starts. Also featuring in the draft is lightly raced six-year-old and 110 IHRB chase-rated LAST ROUND and WELCOME BACK, a five-year-old son of GETAWAY who was a winner of his point-to-point debut at Tinahely earlier this year.

Trainer Henry de Bromhead consigns four lots in the sale led by Grade 1 Punchestown Novice Handicap Chase placed LIFE IN THE PARK, a winner over both hurdles and fences and multiple black type placed. Also featuring in the draft is Grade 2 placed mare INNATENDUE and Listed placed stablemate POPOVA, a half-sister to the Grade 3 placed hurdler HOLDING PATTERN, who holds a current IHRB hurdle rating of 126.

Mark Fahey Racing will consign progressive sprinter I BID YOU AJOU who is sure to garner plenty of interest having won his last three starts for the Kildare-based trainer. The four-year-old gelding has been a revelation this summer since dropping back to six furlongs and the winning streak has seen the son of SHALAA climb considerably in the ratings to be offered with a current Timeform rating of 87.

Another promising prospect is FLAWLESS FUSION offered by Jim Bolger’s Glebe House Stables. The two-year-old filly by DAWN APPROACH was runner-up on debut over seven furlongs at Leopardstown earlier this month. She is out of dual Listed placed mare FRENCH FUSION and her impressive debut performance sees her being offered with a current Timeform rating of 81p.

A highlight of the broodmares catalogued is NEW ROMANCE consigned by New England Stud. The daughter of DUBAWI is being offered with an attractive covering to world-class sire KINGMAN on Southern Hemisphere time. She is out of the Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed mare BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE and hails from the family of Group 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner STARLUST. She is being sold as part of a complete dispersal which also includes the January-born yearling filly out of NEW ROMANCE by international Group 1 sire ZOUSTAR.

Other breeding prospects in the sale include the Tinnakill House consigned filly TREXIE, a daughter of this season’s sire sensation AUSTRALIA and a half-sister to dual Group 3 winner and Group 1 Melbourne Cup runner-up PRINCE OF ARRAN. Alne Park Stud offer a trio of broodmares in the auction including AWEEMINIT, a Listed placed hurdler who is offered in foal to exciting young national hunt sire MIDNIGHTS LEGACY.

Elsewhere, Jonathan Fogarty Racing will offer four-year-old filly BESSIE GROVE who is set to be a feature of the four point-to-pointers on offer. The daughter of BLUE BRESIL made a strong impression when placed second on debut at Fairyhouse in April and followed this up finishing fourth at Tattersalls last time out, only two-lengths behind the eventual winner.  The Coolbawn Stables consigned BEE’S KISS also looks a mare with plenty of potential following an eleven-length victory at Necarne last month. They are joined by six-time winner MOUNTAIN ASSAULT from trainer Dale Peters and Ballyragget winner CIEL DE NEIGE from Baltimore Stables.

One of the two yearlings on offer is the Fittocks Stud consigned filly by Group 1 sire CRACKSMAN out of a winning half-sister to the Listed winning and Group 2 placed pair DRILL and PONGEE. The sole store offering is a filly by FALCO and out of the Grade 2 placed hurdler DOUBLY GUEST.
