The son of Brian Boru was a comfortable 12 length winner of his maiden at Ballindenisk in May and followed this success up with another creditable run at Dromahane to finish runner-up on his five start in winners company. Ridden prominently behind the leader, Glorious Boru produced a challenge at the fifth last fence where he ran on gamely to secure the second placed spot, just five lengths behind the three-time winner, Steak and Spuds. Given the attributes shown his latest starts, Glorious Boru looks an ideal prospect to make his name in English point-to-points.
